Casual Drawstring Pants Trending

I have noticed in North Florida that casual drawstring pants seem to be trending.  They were either in the window with marketing POP support or on front aisle table.  Stores from Pac Sun, Tillys, American Eagle Outfitters, and Express Men.  Prices range from $30-$60.

Popcorn shirts just won't go away

I am fascinated with these popcorn shirts that became popular at the turn of the millenium.
They were once a hot trend that has ended up still/back on the market.
I have noticed them for several years at Wal-greens....so someone must be buying them!
There is even a website to buy these for wholesale or retail.

The OP/Wal-Mart version of the Amphibian

Ocean Pacific was an authentic surf company made in 1972.  They joined forces with Wal-Mart exclusively in 2007. Recently Op has started selling their version of Quiksilver's Amphibian short.
Op shows the benefits and features on its hang tags and product stickers.  They carry both plaid and solid versions pricing around $19.

This store has recently opened at the Florida Mall in Orlando. Roxy Outdoor Fitness seems it would be a great fit with this intimate women's store.

Fox has joined in with many other action sports brands and continues it's Fox Active line.  It shows three divisions in the line Active Training- training specific product/ergonomic details/body temperature control, Active Tech-technical fabrics/sealed seems/breathable, and Active Sportswear-authentic lifestyle inspired styles/everyday casual use.  These include tee, jackets, shorts, hats, and shoes.  The shirts are priced around $30, the shorts $50, and jackets $120.

Macy's has started a new 'Customer Favorites' sales program.  These items can be found in all departments. The items have a sign next to them with a QR code that can be scanned and you can order the product in seconds. It will show what colors it is available in.  It boasts that all styles and colors are ALWAYS in stock.

Billabong x White Mike Spring Collection

Billabong has teamed up once again with world-renowned photographer Michael Muller for an expanded range of pieces inspired by Michael's breathtaking photographs of not only sharks, but other wildlife. 

Muller visionary images involves a unique approach to underwater photography, where he uses professional studio lighting below the surface. The results have produced some of the most jaw dropping shark portraits seen to date, and have been used in everything from Red Hot Chilli Pepper album covers to successful gallery exhibits all round the world. These new images are now the basis for the Billabong x White Mike collection which boasts the Carnivorous and Wild boardshort and Jungle King and Freebird tee designs.

The Billabong collaboration has further highlight Muller’s charity's whitemike.org. This is a non profit organisation that brings awareness to the devastation created by commercial long line fishing that is decimating the shark population at a rate of seventy to ninety million sharks a year. "This is un-sustainable, unacceptable and unconscionable," said Muller.

As well as aiding White Mike, the collection will also raise funds for earthecho.org - EarthEcho International, a non-profit organization whose mission is "to empower youth to take action that restores and protects our water planet."  EarthEcho was founded by Philippe and Alexandra Cousteau, grandchildren of the great explorer Jacques Cousteau.

Matthew McConaughey's new line of clothing- 'Just keep Livin' sold at Dillard's

American Rag's Surf line


Exclusively at Macy's American Rag, has started a surf line. They are featuring a version of Quiksilvers Amphibian short called Surf and City short. It is light weight and water repellant with a 4-way stretch.  They are an Every Day Value (EDV) priced at $29.98.  The shorts are offered in bright and basic solids as well as plaids.  The line is supposed to sit on Macy's floor next to the Action Sports pad.

Animal Print Camo
